Clinical Project Leader

Hobson Prior is working with a research driven Pharmaceutical company who are seeking a Clinical Project Leader to be based in Germany on a contract basis. The client is one of the top pharmaceutical companies, focusing on human, animal health and biopharmaceuticals. This role will entail providing expect reports for various clinical development projects across multiple therapeutic areas. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and/or review specific study-related documents, these include:
  • 1) Development of a clinical development plan from phase 1 to submission for new indications (Fragile X syndrome, Progressive Myoclonal Epilepsy). This includes a review of the literature, consideration of regulatory guidelines, suggestions for relevant clinical endpoints and trial concepts, also translational medicine studies.
  • 2) Propose an outline and concept for phase 2 studies in Alzheimer Dementia
  • 3) Provide a synthesis of literature review of adequacy of functional assessments for cognitive impairment in schizophrenia
  • 4) Provide a synthetic overview of published studies in cognitive impairment in schizophrenia
  • 5) Literature and database search about pathophysiological background and relevance of a specific mode of action for further indications
  • 6) Evaluation and comparison of assessment tools for impulsivity in BPD, ADHD, Binge eating, substance abuse disorders (alcohol/cocaine/nicotine)
  • 7) Critical Review and Input to translational Medicine studies in CIAS projects
• Provide the necessary background information and occasionally review progress and draft reports
• Ability to work independently, whilst there may be occasional travel to meetings, which can occur on site.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Central Nervous System disorders
• Involvement in operational and strategic aspects of clinical research and drug development
• Communication experience within the regulatory authorities
• Leadership capabilities
