Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance Director - EU QPPV, Netherlands
Summary
A dynamic BioPharmaceutical Company is looking for a Senior PV Director. This role will also take on the responsibilities of EU QPPV. They will oversee and manage all PV operations for the whole portfolio of products for which there are marketing authorisations or applications.

Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the Qualified Person responsible for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV) in the EU and local region as the single contact point for PV matters
- Oversee all products with Marketing Authorisation, or application, within the EU / local region
- Active involvement in risk management and safety evaluation activities
- Evaluation and approval of regulatory communications or regulatory action in response to emerging safety concerns
- Review and approval of the pharmacovigilance system master file (PSMF)
Ideal Candidate:
- Medical Doctor (M.D. or equivalent) with 7+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry in pharmacovigilance/drug safety
- Excellent understanding of drug development and life-cycle management of medicinal products
- 3+ years' of clinical medical experience
- Advanced knowledge of pre-and post-marketing US, EMA, and worldwide safety regulations
- Previous experience as (deputy) EU QPPV for a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company
- Fluent English (fluent Dutch also a bonus)
