Medical Information Specialist

Med Info – Neurology – Short term contract

My Client is looking for a Med Info Officer to work on a short-term contract for them in their Neurology team, you will contribute towards the provisions of a front-line evaluated medical information service in response to enquiries from healthcare professionals, doctors, pharmacists, patients and internal customers.

Some of the responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Provide high quality and well-informed answers to Medical questions from healthcare professionals and internal customers
• Participate with the Global Med Info team in developing content for products and review and update the content
• Provide strategic scientific input to aid the Brand teams
• Handle adverse event reports and product complaints
• Champion high standards for the review and approval of both promotional and non-promotional materials in line with the ABPI/PAGB/IPHA codes of conduct

To be considered for this contract you will have the following experiences and qualifications:

• A university degree in a Biomedical discipline
• A good understanding of the ABPI code of practice
• Experience of Medical information in the Pharmaceutical industry
• Understanding and ability to analysis and summarise biomedical data from published papers with particular attention to detail
