The Company

Our Client, a multinational organisation who develops therapeutics for Life threatening rare genetic diseases is seeking a Principal Medical Writer to join their London office.

The position

As the new Principal Medical Writer, you will report to the Associate Director of Medical Writing and be responsible for the preparation of advanced documentation and provide document project management skills to assist in the development, drafting, reviewing and editing of documents used in conducting clinical studies and reporting clinical study results for regulatory publications.

As part of the remit, you will also:

  • Draft and edit documents for clinical studies
  • Draft and edit documents used in reporting safety/ efficiency information for molecule, such as Investigational brochures and periodic safety reports.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional groups within the Organisation.

The person

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified with 5 years in a science/ technical writing position. The new Principal Medical Writer will have previous experience medical writing in the pharmaceutical industry and possess an excellent understanding of the drug development process, clinical study protocol design, clinical study data collection and results reporting.

As part of the individual's requirement, you will also be seen to need:

  • Knowledge of regulatory Requirements and guidance's
  • Ability to develop modules 2s of INDs/NDAs in eCTD format.
  • Capable of leading a cross functional team.

Compensation

£60,000-£70,000 (DOE)
