Job Details
Due to exciting growth my client, a leading CRO Laboratory, are looking to expand their team by bringing on board an experienced Key Account Manager. The right candidate will have strong industry relationships and experience within the bioanalytical marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for 5 keys clients
- Demonstrates leadership and ability to develop sound global strategies in-line with company goals
- Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of the market and prepares and delivers on account plans based on market knowledge
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
- Acts as representative of the company to Accounts and vice versa
- Ensures pricing and long-term Agreement formation
- Creates and maintains relationship with the senior key executives of top pharmaceutical companies
- Critical thinking skills. Ability to analyze and interpret data to prepare and execute effective sales strategies
- Proactively communicates with Sales Management and home office/Customer Service teams
- Meets both Business Development field activity and in-house operations expectations
- Demonstrates ability to work within a team and perform well independently
- Proven ability to understand and adapt to customers' changing needs
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in biology (or related science) or business
Experience:
- 10 years of sales leadership, account management experience, or related industry experience
Skills:
- Full knowledge of large molecule bioanalytical services and market
- Strong technical background
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing strategic plans
- Proven ability to work in a matrix organization
- Proven ability to work in cross-cultural environment
- Proven ability to build and maintain a trustful working relationship within the company and client companies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people in a professional manner, face to face, on the telephone and in writing
