Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – National Territory – Varied Therapeutic Areas

I am partnering with an exciting and growing biopharmaceutical company who research and develop innovative health products to improve the lives of patients within a number of different therapeutic areas. I am engaged in a search for an energetic and motivated MSL to provide scientific and medical information to Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and raise awareness about the company’s niche and specialist products.

Some of the main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with HCPs and KOLs across the varied therapeutic areas providing balanced scientific information and addressing questions around safety and use of company products
• Once relationships have been established, recognise potential advocates for the use of the products, potential speakers or possible investigators for clinical trails
• Become an expert on the company’s products and the diseases that they treat and how beneficial these treatments are to patients
• Assisting the Medical and Clinical teams in protocol development, site selection, patient recruitment strategies and investigator education
• Work closely with Healthcare Development Manager to develop medical strategy and KOL mapping

To be considered for this exciting and challenging position, I am looking for people with the following skills and experiences:

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of both the private and national healthcare systems
• A scientific or medical qualification – a master’s would be an advantage
• Proven ability to develop and maintain peer to peer relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Willingness to travel – this is a national role covering England, Wales, Scotland and NI
