Job Details
Covance is growing and to support our growth in France, we are actively looking for a Line Manager dedicated to our FSP department. As such, you will work closely for one of our main client, a well-known pharmaceutical company known for its innovation in clinical development.
If you are interested in bringing your expertise in project and line management to a dedicated team, this role is made for you.
Role and Responsibilities:
Responsible for detailed performance review and management of assigned direct reports
Measure performance indicators for assigned staff
Escalate potential individual training needs and assist in the conduct of training and development efforts
Conduct, report and follow-up on Quality Control Visits (CQC)
Maintain good working relationships with internal and external clients to ensure opportunity for acquiring additional new business
Perform weekly review of direct report billable hours and associated utilization per the quaterly and annual budget plan
Engage in Resource management activities for direct reports
Assist with staff recruitment through screening and interviewing
Education / Qualifications:
University/college degree - life science preferred or certification in related allied health profession
Strong client management experience
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years relevant clinical research experience
Ideally 3 years supervisory experience in a health care or clinical research setting
Minimum 1 year as a Line manager or Project Manager required
Experience within Sponsor environment highly desirable and/or direct regular interaction with Sponsors
Demonstrate ability to lead by example and to encourage team members to seek solutions
Demonstrate ability to successfully participate as a member of a project team and to manage multiple competing priorities
Advanced planning and organisational skills
Advanced oral, written and presentation skills
