Niche CRO - Senior CRA - UK

Working with a specialist biotech client base, this niche CRO is currently looking to take on a Senior (or experienced Level II) CRA.

This role would suit someone with a previous independent monitoring background who is looking to work more in the cutting-edge world of biotech sponsored studies.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the delivery of the studies at allocated centres and are active participants in the study team.

• Responsible for the preparation, initiation, monitoring and closure of an agreed number of centres in clinical studies according to sponsor company Procedural Documents, international guidelines such as ICH and GCP as well as relevant local regulations.

• Required to join the Study Start up team and perform Site Qualification Visits for new projects within an exciting pipeline.

• Some of these visits will be on site and some could be performed remotely. Expectation is no more than 50% travel to sites in the UK.

Requirements:

• University degree in related discipline, preferably in life science, or equivalent qualification; ideally Life Science university degree (minimum BSc),

• Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English.

• Excellent knowledge of international guidelines ICH/GCP, basic knowledge of GMP/GDP.

• Good knowledge of relevant UK regulations.

• Basic understanding of the drug development process.

• Ability to travel nationally as required.
