Study Start Up Manager - 12 Month Contract - Biotech


i-Pharm Consulting are seeking on behalf of a global Biotechnology company a freelance Study Start Up Manager.

THE ROLE:
Initial 12 month contract. Fully office based, perfect for anyone living on the M4 Corridor. Coordinate clinical start up activities across European clinical trials.

Other duties include:

  • Provide site activation oversight acting as the primary global study start up specialist
  • Evaluating all essential clinical trial documents relating to the sites activation
  • Green light release responsibility by performing the final review of all site activation related documents
  • Registering and activating sites including taking responsibility of the shipment of supplies
  • Responsible for the maintence of essential documents post site activation
  • Mentoring junior members of staff

LOCATION:
Office Based, M4 Corridor

RATE:
Competitive daily rate

WORK PATTERN:
Full time contract, 40 hours per week


REQUIRED:

  • Life sciences degree
  • 4+ years within Pharmaceutical/CRO industry
  • 2+ years within study start up and site activation experience is essential
  • Good knowledge of clinical research processes including ICH GCP
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability and willingness to mentor junior members of staff
