We are looking to recruit an experienced Project Leader in RWE into our high profile partnership projects on a global level. We are able to consider candidates in the following locations - UK, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Ireland and Lithuania - either office or field based.

As the Project Leader you will actively lead the PAREXEL and Client teams by combining deep clinical research experience with insight into client pressures in order to develop the right solution for the client. This requires developing in-depth project management skills and business understanding, knowledge, and experience in order to independently make effective decisions and take action. You will use your extensive international experience to deliver high profile, Laste Phase RWE projects within budget, quality and timeline objectives. As the leader of an international, cross functional team you will be accountable for project delivery across all regions, working closely with Portfolio Directors and senior management to maximise project profitability and ensure client satisfaction.

This role provides the overall leadership of clinical trials as well as the project teams to achieve operational excellence and deliver projects on time, to budget, to the highest quality, compliant with ICH GCP, and that exceed client expectations. This position is responsible for the profitability of a small to midsize project(s) and client satisfaction, and therefore acts as a role model and/or coach for the team. This position can also be part of a global project management team.

At the Project Leader level you will also have involvement with project scoping, costing and negotiation activities. Projects will be more global in scope and more complex in nature. Yuo may also have the opportunity to have involvement in the management of either small programs or large, global mega trials. In addition to driving projects you will also play a key role in securing new business, with input into proposals and attending bid defence meetings.

The performance of the Project Leader in delivering studies is also critical in securing new business from existing clients.

Key Accountabilities:

- Independently responsible for all Project Leader tasks and deliverables according to SOPs on assigned projects including:
- Perform initial and ongoing risk management
- Manage and ensure first time quality on the project deliverables
- Develop and manage the client relationship
- Understand and own the project P&L
- Manage the cross-functional project team
- Represent Project Leadership function
- Other assigned responsibilities

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a science/medical related field. Advanced degree desirable.
- PMP or equivalent desirableTo be successful in this role you will have a proven track record of international, full service project management, across a broad range of therapy areas in late phase III - IV.

- Ability to become proficient with PAREXEL systems
- Familiarity with standard business and eClinical systems used in Clinical Research – such as CTMS, EDC, IVRS, and project planning tools
- ICH and GCP regulations in relevant geographies
- Solid clinical knowledge and basic understanding of clinical research and protocol design

Knowledge and Experience:
- Advanced level project late phase clinical project management and leadership experience is essential
- Strong command of written and spoken English language, local language proficiency as required
- Proven substantial project management experience, preferably in healthcare, clinical research, or contract research organization
- Proven track record of developing client relationships at project level
- Previous CRO experience is strongly preferred, with involvement in bid defence activities.
- Strong financial management and client relationship skills are essential.
