This role is based in our new modern state of the art office in Nottingham city centre which has excellent transport links and has a great working environment and the feel of an innovative technology company.

As the Senior Project Manager within eClinical Operations Portfolio Management you will provide business process re-engineering skills to the management of strategic development projects across the eClinical Business Unit. Assists Associate and Director eClinical Portfolio Management in the efficient management of the eClinical project portfolio. Engage with the appropriate groups to resolve issues when they are identified. Ensure Risk analysis and other basic project management processes for each project are completed and maintained. Provide regular updates to the eClinical Senior Management group on the progress of the projects being managed. Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Leaders as required.

Key Accountabilities:

Project manages business critical projects as necessary
- Project Plan
- Risk assessment and management
- Timesheet maintenance and approval
- Budget management and justification (Including capitalisable status)
- Maintenance of information databases (e.g. Projectview)

Be a point of escalation for issues
- Arrange for follow-through of resolutions via the appropriate departments.

Operational readiness
- Ensure that projects reaching fruition have adequate operational readiness and roll out plans and assist in their preparation and for critical projects their implementation.

Change Management;
- Maintain a positive, results-orientated work environment, building partnerships and teamwork, communicating to teams in an open, balanced and objective manner

Communication
- Provide regular reports to management as requested and has input into portfolio of internal projects

Education:
-
Degree or significant relevant experience

Knowledge and Experience:
- Significant Pharmaceutical Industry Experience or relevant job experience within PI
- Significant Project Management Experience
- Broad knowledge of PI business units products
- Sound operational understanding
- Global Organizational Awareness
