ProClinical is happy to announce that we are advertising an opportunity for a talented and hardworking individual to join a BD Associate position at a global CRO with over 30 years of experience. This company, which specialises in providing expertise in the molecule bioanalysis field, is seeking for someone to join their team in Singapore.

The BD Associate will help secure new business and retain existing clients and repeated business through professional, consultative, proactive business development activities directed at decision-makers and influencers at existing and new clients/sponsors.

Job Responsibilities:

* Achieving new business won (NBW) targets set by the company by adapting successful strategies and tactics to meet market demands and financial targets.
* Serving as a liaison between the customer and operations teams within the company and maintain general knowledge of all company services for appropriate cross-promotional opportunities.
* Coordinating with respective parties in contracts to develop competitive proposals; pursuing awareness of competitive activities, positioning, and pricing, which includes specific reasons for awards and non-awards.
* Leading, preparing, and managing a dynamic queue of budget proposal assignments, and meeting strict submission deadlines through working collaboratively with relevant parties involved.
* Setting clear deadlines and working with business developers and operation teams to develop budget proposals that specifically address the needs and interest of each prospective client.
* Writing, coordinating, and finalising persuasive contents to customise a document (RFP/RFI) for a specific prospective client through working with business development and operational professionals.
* Identifying, requesting, and reviewing quotations from external vendors to support budget proposal development.
* Developing, reviewing, assembling, finalising, and maintaining accuracy of cost estimates, service scopes, contents, grammar, spelling, punctuation, format text, pictures, and graphics for aesthetics, quality, and adherence to meet RFP specifications.
* Managing timelines carefully, and serving as a BD lead for proposal opportunities, keeping the team and documents on task to deliver a complete and final document on time.
* Providing exceptional client service to internal clients, including developing rapport, being responsive, and providing high-quality deliverables on time.
* Developing presentation materials *such as in PowerPoint format) for oral presentations, as needed to support BD activities, as required.
* Recording reportable BD activities and new business prospects into Salesforce, ensuring information recorded in databases is updated.
* Preparing, finalising, negotiating (if required), amending, and terminating contracts with sponsors, subcontractors, and vendors through working with business development, operations, legal, and other management teams.
* Preparing, coordinating, and finalising Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements (CDA), Master Service Agreements, initial Work Orders (WO), Letters Of Intent (LOI), Vendor Service Agreement (VSA) and/or internal Project Order (PO) preparation and internal review upon project award.
* Responding to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions, as required.
* Proactively reviewing, triggering, and preparing all applicable change orders and agreements in a timely manner.
* Supporting and participating in client meetings if required.
* Assisting and/or attending in bed defence meetings with clients to support in proposal and budget discussion.
* Performing administrative tasks such as mailing, scanning, saving, uploading, and managing the contract signature process internally and externally.
* Upon project award, leading, coordinating, attending, presenting, and/or supporting business developers and operations teams in project handover/kick-off meetings.

Skills and Requirements:

* A degree in a relevant field, particularly Business subjects.
* Demonstrable experience with securing new businesses.
* Demonstrable experience with business development.
* Demonstrably strong project management skills.
* Strong team ethos, with a demonstrated track record of success in cross-functional teams and a fast-moving environment.
* An ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely, on-target, and within budget accomplishment of tasks.
* Strong communication, persuasion, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
