Role Description:

The International Payroll Assistant will support the International Payroll Team Leader and International Payroll Supervisor in the day to day tasks of the department ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.

Responsibilities of The International Payroll Assistant:
  • Assisting the International Payroll Team Leader and International Payroll Supervisor with the preparation and processing of International Payrolls
  • Ensuring data is entered correctly and in a timely manner
  • Processing new starters, leavers, salary increases, maternity leave and all other adhoc changes to the payrolls
  • Payroll admin duties such as - scanning, downloading, photocopying, preparing following month folders and spreadsheets ready for processing
  • Managing a payroll portfolio of international countries
  • Responding to internal/external payroll questions and queries
  • Ensuring compliance with external regulations and HMRC guidelines
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to Global Data Protection regulations at all time
  • Liaising with other departments such as Finance and HR ensuring all data captured in the department is correct
  • Keeping legislation knowledge up to date using appropriate and reputable sources.
  • Payroll reconciliation at the end of each month end
  • Further payroll related tasks as deemed necessary by the business
Essential Criteria:
  • A desire to begin a career within Payroll
  • Currently completing CIPP training or a strong desire to do so in the future
  • Great attention to detail
  • Willingness and ability to learn new systems and processes
  • Experience in a previous administrative role is desirable but not essential
