International Distribution Manager (EMEA & APAC)

An international healthcare business, which specialises in the development, manufacture and distribution of diagnostic products.

We are looking for an innovative International Distribution Manager who possesses a marketing mind-set to work in our International Sales Department to connect with our Territory Sales Managers, our in-house Marketing Department and our Distributors and drive the business growth of products throughout the most parts of the globe.
The post holder is operationally responsible for providing marketing support to the International sales department; designing and implementing agreed strategies to ensure support through distribution channels is optimised to meet both the strategic aims of the company, distributor and end customer requirements. The post holder is expected to maintain specialist knowledge of our products, the diagnostic market, distributor management and end customer requirements across the International markets of EMEA & APAC.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Develop strong relations with our International Sales team and distributor organisations, developing the local market across EMEA & APAC
Develop, implement and monitor agreed sales and Marketing strategies in cooperation with the International Sales Manager, individual Territory Managers and the MSLs
Work with Technical Services to support the resolution of customer complaints and enquiries in a positive manner.
Monitor Sales vs. Budget target and contribute to the development of sales campaigns to support product growth.
Maintain awareness of competitor activities in the diagnostic market and make proposals for counter initiatives.
Develop strong working relationship with product managers/marketing managers at subsidiary offices and Distributor offices

Must have:
Experience in marketing/sales in the diagnostic market
Evidence of driving sales through Distributor channels
Possesses an Analytical and Strategic perspective when dealing with Distributors
Experience of distributor markets and management, preferably in EMEA & APAC i.e. how to get products to market via Distributors
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships (internal and external)
Must be able to travel internationally

BSc in biological sciences, Biochemistry (with strong immunology content), or
Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business ( or equivalent)
Experience of new product development
Sales v budget experience
International experience
Project management experience
Numerical skills for manipulation of market and sales data, profitability calculations and NPV calculations.
