Our client have one of the best pipelines in the industry with a total of 75 development projects in the pipeline, of which 70% are in trial phases II or III, or in registration. 90% of these projects offer new modes of action or are treatments meeting unmet clinical needs.
*Be the "Product Champion" for the pipeline molecules
*Provide input into the global Clinical Development Plan (CDP), study designs, protocols to ensure UK needs are addressed
*Attract strategically important trials into the UK
*Provide input into study feasibility
*Develop and maintains KOL/investigator relationships in conjunction with Scientific Operations
*Act as chief investigator for designated studies
*Provide input into the ethics submissions, informed consent etc
*Attend MREC meetings
*Provide input/support at Investigator meetings
*Provide input into the local publication plan
*Ensure all GCP requirements are adhered to and the study is inspection ready
For marketed products:
*Provide input into the Strategic and Operational Plans
*Support marketing to drive strategic positioning, differentiation and messages
*Provide input into promotional campaigns for the Brand
*Work with the brand team and Scientific Advisor to develop and support key claims
*Identify clinical areas of opportunity/differentiation for the brands
Ensure compliance for all promotional materials and activities
*Work towards final signatory ABPI/MHRA sign off status
*Provide Brand training and conference support
*Provide medical input to Health Technology Appraisals
*Work in partnership with marketing to develop high quality briefing and promotional materials
*Develop and maintain KOL relationships
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
You will need a GMC permissible medical degree and the right to work in the UK. You will have relevant expert knowledge in the therapy area. You will be able to demonstrate that you have gained Medical advisory skills within the pharmaceutical industry. ABPI expertise is needed.
