We’re looking for a talented and energetic Financial Accountant to join our team in Warsaw! This position can be hired in either Warsaw, Poland or Wokingham, Berkshire UK and is office based.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develops and maintains a good knowledge of the company’s finance processes and procedures and the accounting system relating to the required activities

Applies accounting knowledge and techniques to all areas of work, including the production of journals, reconciliations and variance analysis

Performs financial calculations to support financial transactions relating to cash, pre-payments, accruals, fixed assets, costs etc

Works with local accountants to ensure accuracy between local books and Costpoint

Supports to Finance Manager for central tasks when applicable

Participates in corporate initiatives and actions that ensure the continued success of the company

EDUCATION, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

The candidate should be studying towards a recognised professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA) or QBE

Previous related experience ideally gained in a global setting

Fluent verbal and written English

Excellent team player, collaborative and able to build an effective team

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Excellent organisational and time-management skills, able prioritise work to meet deadlines

Accountable, dependable and strong commitment

Is customer service focused in approach to work both internally and externally

Maintains a positive, results orientated work environment

This is a hands on role working in a growing company and would suit someone who is able to work on their own initiative
