Client Services Director Medical Communications

Role / Description
A growing global MedComms agency is looking for a Client Services Director (or Associate Client Services Director) to take responsibility for a 2million virology account working across a range of publications, med affairs and commercial deliverables.

As well as leading this account, the CSD will provide strategic support to clients and actively seek out new business opportunities with new or existing clients so proven business development and experience with pitching is key. Within the internal teams, you will provide line management and mentoring support to lead the client services team, ensuring accurate resourcing and adequate training is provided where required. You will have extensive account-handling skills from a pharma/agency environment and will be looking to expand on these in a role within the senior team of a busy agency.

The agency itself is a mid-sized agency within a global network, with employees in Europe and the US working collaboratively across the globe on virology, oncology and immunology accounts to deliver publications, med affairs and commercial accounts. They are a growing agency and are looking to expand their client base and diversify their offering in the next 12 months.

Location
London, Cheshire or Manchester (potential for home working)

Salary
Up to 84k per annum (dependent on experience)

Candidate Requirements:
Life sciences degree (preferably life sciences)
Strong relevant account-handling experience (either agency or pharma side)
Proven experience in business development and pitchwork.
Proven line management experience.
Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations with experience of working to ABPI.
High level of organisation and time-management.
Pro-active and enthusiastic.
