Job Responsibilities

  • Formulate target validation studies and monitor them through the design, performance and interpretation stages
  • Carry out cell-based assay development studies
  • Independently solve problems and develop solutions
  • Effectively prioritise work, reviewing the project goals, and ensure objectives are delivered in a timely manner
  • Monitor the upkeep of electronic laboratory notebook
  • Be responsible for the maintenance of assigned laboratory equipment and duties

Key Skills

Proven technical knowledge of:

  • Mammalian cell culture techniques
  • Phenotypic assays
  • Molecular biology techniques
  • Target validation techniques
  • Experience in small molecule characterisation


  • PhD in a biological science
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an industrial discovery environment
  • Minimum 3 years’ post-doctoral experience in oncology or immunology
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
