An up-and-coming biopharma company are seeking an experienced Medical Affairs physician with prior line management experience to spearhead Medical Affairs activities, with multiple launches planned for 2019.
Acting as a leading figure in the business and taking responsibility for multiple therapy areas, working on a portfolio which includes a number of innovative or first-in-class molecules. You will manage both Medical Affairs staff and activities, with 9 individuals reporting directly into you including MSL Managers, Medical Advisors and more. You will be responsible for Medical Affairs strategies across Europe market as well as taking strong involvement in Global Medical Affairs Therapeutic Area activities and local commercial plans.
Provide leadership, line management and development of European medical staff
Ensure appropriate affiliate resourcing, skills and capabilities are in place to support country organization
Provide clarity of roles, responsibility and accountability for country organization medical staff
Ensure adherence to high standards and a culture of ethical and compliant behaviour.
GMC registered physician with license to practice
ABPI final signatory
Experience working at Medical Director Level previously or 5+ years Medical Affairs experience
Line management experience strongly preferred
Strong communication, drive and leadership skills
