Our client, a market leading global pharmaceutical company with an excellent Oncology pipeline is currently seeking a Medical Director to provide above country medical support and development. This is an exciting position working across multiple indications with an upcoming launch. This role is ideal for anyone looking to take that next step up into a senior position with immediate above country exposure!
Medical and/or Scientific Degree
Demonstrated experience within Medical Affairs
Experience within Oncology or related areas is essential
Responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing the EMEA Medical Affairs plans and being responsible for ensuring collaboration amongst the countries and supporting the EMEA affiliates
Ensuring regions are in-line with the global medical affairs strategies across the oncology brands and indications
Providing scientific support to medical and marketing activities for EMEA affiliates
Collaborating with and working with the Global Leadership teams
Working frequently with market access teams
Being responsible for Clinical Trials Leadership which includes leading EMEA studies, interfacing with clinical operations and assisting with the review of clinical study protocols
Input within the Global life cycle management
Travelling out to meet the EMEA affiliates on occasion
