Senior Marketing Manager (Oncology) 

The Company:
A leading global Biotech company committed to Oncology and Hematology

Role Overview:
Reporting directly into the Director Oncology UK, this is a critical role within thier Oncology team. Working closely with the Director, the Marketing Senior Manager will play a lead role in shaping and influencing their Oncology strategy and will act as the Brand Ambassador for the UK, leading all marketing activity for a key oncology brand and supporting with activity and insight across the whole portfolio.
As the UK first point of contact for the European Brand leadership team, the incumbent will play a key role as part of a cross-functional team to develop and deliver full brand plans in strategic alignment with the global brand team.

Key Responsibilities:
Leads all marketing activity for their oncology product supporting activity for other brands across Oncology portfolio
First point of contact of the European therapy area lead or Brand Director
Delivery of specific projects/initiatives supported by Business Unit Director
Leads short and long range sales forecasting for the brand(s)
Delivery of P&L targets across multiple products/countries or priority brand at launch phase
Marketing Leadership
Ensures effective and continued development of cross functional brand team working across business units and between UK&I
Acts as country brand ambassador, sharing best practice internationally and supporting the co-creation of European brand strategy
Embed multichannel customer engagement change/ innovation across affiliate, collaborating to improve existing process
Excellent understanding of the code and regulatory environment ensuring marketing plans across the affiliate are compliant with the ABPI code of practice
Strategic Brand Planning
Development and delivery of full brand plan(s) for strategically important brand or strategic oversight of brand plans for a therapy area
Sophisticated analysis and interpretation of data, trends and insights to re-evaluate and continually inform and refine strategy
Utilises market research, and high deep understanding of leading industry practices to challenge and innovate Amgens marketing practices
Implements market segmentation , tailors marketing communication plan
Collaborates with medical affairs leadership to shape medical requirement for brand
Challenges XFT thinking on pricing, reimbursement and access decisions

Location: Cambridge *Some national & international travel will be required

Flexibility within role though minimum of 3 days in Cambridge per week

Basic Qualifications:
Marketing or Business qualification (degree with professional marketing qualification (e.g. CIM/MII or similar, or working towards)
Degree with science background (or equivalently qualified by extensive experience in product management)
Minimum Experience:
Experience of customer facing sales/local access or account manager role (with documented success)
Expert in industry, healthcare system and therapy area knowledge
Demonstrated strong financial acumen and analytical capability
Fully fluent in regulatory framework and code of practice (ABPI / IPHA)
Experience of leading a cross functional team
Experience of working with multichannel including digital
Preferred Experience:
Experience in the field of Oncology
Experience in market access/launch
Value Based Health Care experience
Broad life cycle management experience
Field sales/access experience (with documented success)
