Rate: Lucrative daily rate

INTRO:

A growing biopharmaceutical company based in London is looking for an experienced Drug Safety Physician to join the team on a contract basis with strong likelihood of further extension.

This is a great opportunity to work for a niche biopharmaceutical that focuses on developing and optimizing the value of novel medicines acquired form the large pharmaceutical companies designed to address the medical needs within rare and speciality disease areas.

Responsibilities:

* Medical review and assessment of SAE and AESIs
* Safety surveillance activities
* Signal detection
* Review and contributions to DSURs and case narratives
* Contributing to medical and safety requests from regulatory agencies
* Providing the medical and safety related aspects of drug application
* Involvement of Benefit Risk Assessment
* Supporting the CRO Medical Monitors
* Clinical input to data review and presentations
* Building relationships with investigators and KOLs
* Contributes to the development of clinical study protocols and study reports

Requirements:

* Medically qualifies with ideally GMC registration
* Experience in industry or clinical research
* Ideally 2 years post qualification medical practice
* Medical monitoring experience for clinical trials
* Good knowledge of safety databases and signal detection tools
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent presentation skills
* GCP, ICH guidelines, regulatory requirements for clinical development
* Rare disease experience would be an advantage
