Freelance CRA/SCRA Contract – Scotland

I have just partnered with a client looking for a talented and experienced CRA/SCRA to join them for 6 months on a 1 FTE contract. My client is a niche CRO doing exciting work in pharmaceutical and medical device development.  This opportunity is for a highly motivated and organised individual to work a late phase trial who are willing to work 2 days a week in an office. My client is looking for someone to start in January and with a strong chance of there being a contract extension, this is the ideal opportunity to secure an exciting contract for the New Year.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the study development and start-up process including reviewing protocols

• working with management on monitoring strategy

• Organising and presenting at investigator meetings

• Provide training and oversight of more junior CRA’s

• Review regulatory documents and prepare site visit reports

• Perform site visits in England once or twice a month

Requirements:

• 3 years’ clinical monitoring experience is essential

• Background in a range of therapeutic areas

• Experience in medical devices is highly beneficial but not essential

• Great knowledge of ICH/GCP

• Experience working in all clinical phases, particularly Phase IV

• Good communication skills 

• Able to start full time in January
