Lead Supply Chain Quality Assurance Officer – Cambridge

Job Responsibilities

  • Carry out internal QMS activities
  • Manage Third Party providers
  • Aid in the delivery of departmental continuous improvement projects
  • Reviewing internal quality procedures and updating where necessary, as well as devising new procedures
  • Escalate all major quality issues to the supply chain manager
  • Formulate regular reports on various supply chain assurance areas, for example, complaints
  • Maintain and regulate compliance with statutory duties, regulation and legislation

Key Skills

  • Commitment to your personal development in order to widen the scope of the role and progress
  • Be comfortable with acting as the representative for quality in a range of cross-functional projects
  • Able to drum up team spirit in a professional manner in order to drive the function and business needs
  • Understand the operation and strategy of the organisation and the network or IACs


  • No formal qualifications required, however, a scientific degree would be advantageous
  • Practical experience within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge of GMDP and other relevant legislation
  • Proven demonstration and knowledge of all supply chain assurance processes and activities
