Our client is a successful independent full-service healthcare communications agency which works on global accounts. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their office in Cheshire and are seeking a Scientific Database Co-ordinator to join their team.

In this role, you will offer administrative and project-related support to the delivery teams. Your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of database management, liaising with clients, and developing outlines and drafts to scientific materials. In addition to this, you will learn the process of internal review, QC, styling and copy-editing, and apply this to assigned projects.

This is a great entry level opportunity to start your career in medical communications. This role offers the possibility of gaining a 360-degree view of medical communications and an opportunity to work under the mentorship of experienced directors.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and accurately maintain project databases
  • Develop and maintain project status trackers/timelines
  • Under guidance, develop outlines and drafts of scientific materials

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Life science degree (BSc or MSc with a preference for pharmacology/pharmacy, medicine, or biomedical sciences)
  • Administrative experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Problem-solving skills
  • Effective team work
