Hendre Moolman at CK Clinical is recruiting for a Drug Safety Evaluation Scientist to join a Pharmaceutical company at their site based in Hertfordshire on a full time permanent basis.

The Company:
Our client takes the view of putting the patient and their family first. As an organisation they specialise in treating Neurology and Oncology disease areas, with multiple indications in late stage development in both key areas.

The Location:
The role is based at our client's site in Hatfield, which is easily commutable from London and the surrounding areas. The site has ample parking, with modern offices, including a subsidised coffee bar and onsite catering facilities.

The Role:
The main purpose of the role will be to
- Provide scientific review and input to the preparation of aggregated safety reports and safety evaluations.
- Support with safety monitoring of assigned products and provide scientific and operational support to clinical development program(s).
- Undertake routine signal detection and evaluation activities

Further responsibilities will include:
- Having major involvement in the production of PSURs, DSURs and risk management plans
- Contributing to investigator brochures and protocols, where required
- Playing an active role in helping to strengthen PV operations including in cross functional project related activities

Your Background:
To succeed in this role, you will come from a Life Science background, with previous work experience in Drug Safety, including:
- Previous Data Entry experience (preferably post marketed and clinical adverse events).
- Previous Database search experience and coding experience using MedDRA
- Data evaluation experience, for example Literature review, signal review, ICSR, Risk Benefit related experience
