The Position

In this demanding role, you'll be tasked with supporting the development of strategic plans for Roche assets, through inspiring matrix leadership and intelligent application of market access and communications knowledge.  You will lead and align expertise across the Communications, Policy and Access Directorate (CPAD) to develop and deliver this franchise strategy to ultimately get our medicines to patients.

Working as a key member of the Integrated Franchise Teams (IFTs), you will also challenge decision-making across all aspects of the Roche Pharma business for your aligned assets, and be accountable for ensuring plans are executed optimally across CPAD.  In ensuring sound long-term planning for these assets, you will set up and lead Challenge Workshops with senior personnel from across the business, encouraging a culture of productive collaboration across teams.

You'll seek to drive quality and team engagement, in support of franchise goals. As an advocate and activist for high levels of compliance and ethical standards, your approach should exemplify a culture of excellence. Participating and leading on Rx and CPAD projects, you'll align outcomes with the CPAD objectives and vision.

With a degree or a similar equivalent in a business strategy related field, you're someone with experience of influencing stakeholders and operating effectively within a matrix organisation. Closely familiar with the ABPI Code of Practice and a detailed knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector including modern market access considerations, you'll bring valuable expertise, able to think strategically across marketing, sales and market research. As an experienced manager, you'll be confident in leading teams, coaching individuals and encouraging good decision making at all levels.
