 You will report to the QA Manager and you will be responsible for the Planning, Organisation, Control, Documentation and Approval of all Quality Control activities on site. You will supervise of a team of analysts in a busy, dynamic, multiproduct QC Lab. This role offers a great opportunity for career progression and an attractive remuneration package.
     Ensuring that his/her work and work of QC staff complies with cGLP's and is consistently maintained to the required standards.
     Ensuring that all products manufactured comply with current analytical specifications.
     Organising and planning the work of analysts in order to meet the production and sales schedules.
     Organising calibration of laboratory equipment as required.
     Organising and providing training for analysts as required.
     Highlighting any current deficiencies in GLP/GMP.
     Ensuring that laboratory testing objectives are kept up to date and are achieved. 
     Operating company equipment and instruments according to standard operating procedures to avoid damage and to ensure safe working of same.
     Identifying and noting equipment (for sampling, testing and control) maloperation if it occurs, and informing the Supervisor, Quality Control.
     Handling of all laboratory and production materials and other materials according to safety instructions and analytical methods so as not to endanger him/herself, others or the environment.
     Ensuring that only equipment which is properly calibrated and in good working order is used in testing, in order to avoid erroneous results.


. Experience with an API manufacturer is essential for this position. Candidate should also be degree qualified and have staff supervisory experience.
