A well-known global pharmaceutical company with leading products across various therapeutic areas is looking to hire a Health Economics Manager. This vacancy is an exciting opportunity to work at a top global pharmaceutical company that has a workforce of more than 6,700 employees across multiple sites in the UK.

Job Responsibilities:

* To lead the delivery of health economic content for use by sales team that convey the value of the company brands to our customers for the Cardiovascular & Metabolic Business Unit
* To support delivery of health economic content for HTA submissions where required
* Act as health economics liaison for relevant CV and metabolic field-facing budget impact models and tools
* Develop and maintain user friendly budget impact models (Microsoft Excel) that clearly convey the value of company brands
* Provide training to sales teams, to ensure effective and compliant delivery of materials to customers
* Manage outsourcing of development and maintenance to agencies in some circumstances
* Manage relevant health economics asset list in Veeva, monitor and audit compliance with ABPI code of practice and drive remedial action if required
* Support the delivery of HTA submissions as required, by (e.g.)
* Working in conjunction with global HEOR function to develop cost utility analysis models and other payer-related materials for HTA
* Writing cost-effectiveness sections for submissions to NICE, SMC and AWMSG, working collaboratively with UK Payer Evidence colleagues and Medical team
* Tailoring final deliverables to meet UK HTA needs, via “hands on” approach
* Managing outsourcing of health economics projects

Skills and Requirements:

* Postgraduate qualification in health economics
* 3+ years’ experience developing health economic content including promotional materials for sales force, either in a HEOR agency or in the pharmaceutical industry
* Familiarity with pharmaceutical material sign off / approval processes including experience of using approval systems such as Veeva promo-mats, ATLAS, Zinc, or similar
* Familiarity with UK ABPI code of practice and PMCPA requirements
* Ability to develop budget impact models in Microsoft Excel
* Working knowledge (or above) of Microsoft VBA
* Demonstrable record of collaborative working and personal delivery to agreed timelines
* Ability to be able to prioritise effectively, based on business need
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong written skills
* Experience of training non-Health Economists in the effective delivery of HE outputs
* Experience of working with Veeva as a platform for health economic tools
* Experience developing health economic content for HTA submissions
* Ability to develop cost-utility models in Microsoft Excel
* Experience of managing external suppliers
* Experience of up-skilling junior HE staff
* Other experience beyond Health Economics (e.g. NHS)
* Experience in Cardiovascular & Metabolic therapy areas
