Commercial Excellence Director
Our client is a widely known global pharma company based to the West of London looking for a new Director to lead overall excellence within the commercial functions. This role would play a key part in the UK leadership team but work closely with various other affiliates.
Package: £100,000+
Start date: Ideally April-May time

Key duties:
To strategically lead the COMMERCIAL EXCELLENCE function
Play a key role in determining the BUSINESS PLANNING process
Define the overall quality approach to CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
Design, develop & monitor a COMMERCIAL EFFECTIVENESS STRATEGY
Develop the commercial and business insights functions by assessing the KAM ACCOUNT PLANNING process
Effectively IMPLEMENT A KAM Model across all areas of the business.
Act as the UK contact point for legal contract issues
Support regional teams by producing relevant INSIGHTS alongside the team
RECRUIT & DEVELOP individual people within the commercial function

Applicants are expected to have:
> in-depth knowledge of the pharma commercial markets
> previously developed and managed a pharma commercial excellence team or sales/field-force effectiveness function
> a considerable number of years experience carrying out hands-on analytics
> developed a Commercial Effectiveness strategy utilising market data
> proven experience gathering and acting upon commercial insights
> proven ability to develop and lead the implementation of the principles of Key Account Management
> previous P&L management responsibility.

Preferred:
ABPI qualified
Educated to Degree level education (preferred)
