Job Title: Marketing Manager

Location: London Bridge

Term: 6 Months FTC, Part Time (24 Hours, Flexible on working pattern)

The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to join our team. The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in communicating the organisation's purpose and objectives, raising our profile within the clinical research community, generating new business leads, and keeping our existing client portfolio fully apprised of changes and developments to our capabilities. You will plan and execute engaging, high-quality events that resonate with our target audiences. You will use your expertise in event planning and management to create memorable experiences that drive engagement, increase visibility, and develop brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively plan the marketing campaign calendar for email and social channels, ensuring the content aligns with business objectives and reaches key territories.
  • Curate content and ensure requests for assistance and support made via social media are followed up in a timely and professional manner.
  • Create and distribute social media content, SEO (working with external agency), and other paid digital advertising, tailoring global campaigns to the local community and customer personas.
  • Track marketing KPIs and performance, using the latest marketing tools and processes to continuously improve and innovate communications.
  • Cultivate content on the Richmond Pharmacology website and affiliates.
  • Maintain an awareness of competitor activity, understand their products, services and communication plans, and use this information to help differentiate RPL and its affiliates' marketing communications and campaigns.
  • Advanced experience of Content Management Systems (CMS) in website development and editing.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure events are aligned with business objectives.
  • Developing and implementing event marketing strategies to drive attendance and engagement.
  • Coordinating with vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure successful event execution.


Qualifications and Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing
  • Aligning day-to-day operations with long-term strategic goals and applying a creative approach to design and problem-solving.
  • Exceptional storytelling abilities.
  • Advanced understanding and application of social media marketing across various platforms.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, capable of working with stakeholders throughout the organisation.
  • Experience in managing indirectly or directly a marketing team.
  • Advanced copywriting skills for both digital and offline materials.
  • Expertise in social media marketing.
  • Experience in planning and executing events such as conferences and hosted events. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple events simultaneously.
  • Ability to develop and implement event marketing strategies across various digital and traditional channels.
