Job Overview
The Quality Control Technician will ensure, within the framework of established objectives and procedures, the implementation of complex analyses in a reliable and reproducible manner. He/she will be responsible for participating in the development/validation of methods and assessing the quality of products at the various stages of manufacturing, within the time limits and in compliance with regulations and hygiene and safety rules. 

What will your missions be?
Ensure the implementation of analyses in a reliable and reproducible manner within the allotted time and in compliance with quality requirements 

  • Apply the protocol or procedure independently in a reliable, reproducible manner, 
  • Program the sequence of operations defined in the protocol or procedure autonomously, 
  • Perform complex manipulations of a number of techniques with precision, 
  • Propose modifications to operating procedures or analysis techniques, 
  • Master the regulatory context in force at QC (internal QA, GMP) and ensure its compliance and application, 
  • Know how to organize activities within the given time frame. 

Document and process analyses 

  • Report raw data on analysis reports in a clear, precise and understandable manner for all, 
  • Analyze the results and propose a conclusion: graphs, Excel tables, use of scientific computing, 
  • Write general and technical documentation in collaboration with Quality Assurance, 
  • Write up investigations following unforeseen scientific observations. 

Contribute to the establishment and proper functioning of the laboratory 

  • Understand and master how the equipment works, 
  • Train and qualify interns and new arrivals, 
  • Regularly inform your manager of any elements deemed relevant, and in particular of any incidents, 
  • Effectively exchange work information with colleagues, 
  • Be a driving force in the daily organization of the laboratory, 
  • Understand and apply good practices in the laboratory in terms of GMP and safety. 
  • Perform first level maintenance tasks on equipment and cleaning of the laboratory. 
  • Provide a role or responsibilities of general interest to the service (supply manager, shipping manager, database managers, etc.). 
  • Ensure responsibility for shared equipment or parts in conjunction with the technical department and the laboratory department. 

What profile are you looking for?
Level of training and qualifications 

  • Initial training of the DUT/BTS type in biotechnology, biology, biochemistry, or microbiology. 
  • Knowledge of virology 
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment 
  • Minimum 2 years experience. 
  • Written and oral comprehension of English is necessary 
  • Autonomy and great versatility 
  • Proactive, flexible, organized, you have a sense of customer service and enjoy dynamic environments. 
  • Knowledge of analytical methods related to AAV production processes is a plus.
