Senior Health Economist

Hobson Prior is seeking a dedicated Health Economist. This role focuses on understanding and voicing the value of healthcare through economic modelling. The successful candidate will work on projects that help bring healthcare products and services to market by creating models and conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses.

Responsibilities:

• Assess business opportunities and contribute to proposal development.
• Develop and direct health economics models and budget impact models.
• Support project teams and provide senior technical leadership.
• Review project deliverables and ensure quality control.
• Monitor industry developments and propose new service offerings.
• Mentor junior team members and provide training.
• Work with leadership to meet commercial targets and strategic goals.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Strong understanding of healthcare decision-making and stakeholder needs.
• Ability to provide strategic insights and gain client confidence.
• Expertise in designing and executing health economic models.
• Leadership skills to guide project teams and ensure quality work.
• Ability to engage with clients and create new business opportunities.
• Business leadership skills and appropriate business behaviour.
• Line management skills to support team development.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in digital information retrieval and management.
