Our client, an award-winning boutique healthcare communications agency who are proud to create impactful and engaging programmes through blending science and creativity.

Every deliverable is crafted not just to meet specifications, but to surpass clients' expectations—transforming their goals into realities that elevate their businesses beyond the ordinary.

Due to organic growth, they are looking to add either a Senior Account Manager OR Account Director to join their passionate and supportive team. With over 100 years of experience collectively, you will be working with some of the best in industry.

What you will be doing

  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered to the highest quality standards, within budget and exceeding clients’ expectations
  • Taking accountability for client accounts and internal programmes, including building and maintaining optimum client and external stakeholder relations, managing external suppliers and meeting financial targets
  • Identifying potential issues with delivery of programmes, considering potential solutions and making recommendations on the best courses of action
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for organic growth with existing clients and proposing appropriate solutions
  • Identifying other new business opportunities arising for potential development within the team
  • Preparing for new business pitches, including development of communications strategies, operational recommendations, budgets and pitch presentations
  • Working with the senior team to ensure that effective internal standard processes, training, and review procedures are followed in order to deliver quality programmes for clients

To be considered

  • Demonstration of career progression in medical communications or medical education agencies
  • A track record of managing and taking responsibility for successful communications programmes, building successful client and HCP relationships and involvement in new business pitches
  • Strong writing, presentation and communications skills
  • A flexible, thoughtful approach to getting the best from both clients and team members
  • A demonstrable high degree of energy and enthusiasm for work; preparedness to ‘go the extra mile’ and work flexible hours when necessary
  • Minimum science or business first degree
