We are currently seeking a Patient Recruitment Assistant to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Patient Recruitment Assistant, you will play a crucial role in identifying potential study participants and guiding them through the enrollment process. Your efforts will help drive critical clinical research that will ultimately lead to advancements in healthcare globally.

We are currently seeking a Patient Recruitment Assistant to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Patient Recruitment Assistant, you will play a crucial role in identifying potential study participants and guiding them through the enrollment process. Your efforts will help drive critical clinical research that will ultimately lead to advancements in healthcare globally.
What You Will Be Doing and experience/requirements needed: This is a 6 month contract position
- Increase the volume of patients randomizing from EMR/healthcare institution partner practices and Accellacare Research database
- Follow Accellacare SOPs, COGs, training processes, and HIPAA regulations for EHR patient interactions including prescreening and scheduling patients using IRB-approved content
- Deliver excellent customer service to all stakeholders at all times.
- Screen potential study participants accordingly to protocol inclusion and exclusion criteria by asking study specific questions
- Review, enter and edit patient information into clinical trial management software
- Book patients into site schedulers ensuring that entries are accurate and up to date
- Read and understand the purpose and inclusion/exclusion criteria for each protocol
- Respond to all leads within a 24 hour time period
- Identify appropriate study opportunities for interested volunteers based on knowledge of clinical trials and neighboring locations
- Problem solve and create contingency plans to optimize enrollment
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a clinical research or healthcare setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Proficient in English and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- A strong desire to learn and grow in the clinical research field.
