What Nurse Team Lead does at Worldwide

The Nurse Team Leader will have a variety of tasks assigned. Assures appropriately trained staff members are in place to perform scheduled protocol procedures. If staff members are unavailable, performs procedures when necessary to assure compliance with protocol requirements.

What you will do
  • Always represents Worldwide in a professional manner (to Sponsors, study participants and outside vendors).
  • Independently oversees study activity as required
  • Under the direction of the Medical Director’s standing orders, functions as Worldwide's medical coverage (along with on-duty Paramedics) in case of an emergency for subjects/patients visiting Worldwide.
  • Within the nursing scope of practice, assists the PI with the care and evaluation of participants as needed.
  • Must be able to perform duties at a fast pace with attention to detail and without errors.
  • Must be adaptable and possess excellent problem solving skills with the ability to predict and manage potential problems.


What you will bring to the role

Responsible for requesting, scheduling and attending any training required for this position.

Responsible for ensuring participant safety in clinic by observing, assessing and reporting adverse events to physician.

Assessing vital signs to ensure they are within safety range or otherwise reporting to a physician

Ensures all required training is completed and thorough documentation is on file before performing any procedures.
Assists with ordering and stocking supplies.

Your experience

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with current licensure/certifications along with 2-3 years of supervisory experience and 2 years of clinical research experience

Maintains current ACLS and BLS certifications before hire date.
