Are you a seasoned payroll professional with a passion for accuracy and efficiency? Do you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and have a knack for managing international payrolls? If so, Regeneron is looking for you! As an Associate Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our payroll processes run smoothly and accurately across multiple countries. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving process improvements, managing a team of payroll analysts, and collaborating with various departments to support our growing global operations.
A Typical Day Might Include:
Ensuring Payroll Accuracy: Oversee and review the work of payroll analysts, ensuring all inputs are accurate before submission to external payroll providers. This includes: - Running payroll reports from Workday and cross-referencing with inputs - Verifying data from various departments (fleet, benefits, equity, etc.)
Quality Assurance: Confirm that payroll analysts' reconciliations are precise and all essential changes are implemented correctly.
Problem-Solving: Serve as the go-to guide for the team, addressing queries from the international payroll mailbox and providing assistance as needed. Oracle Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the Oracle weekly timecard processing and support analysts with this critical task.
Month-End Mastery: Submit month-end tasks to the Accounting team, including journals, headcount, and annual leave accruals.
Collaborative Meetings: Participate and present in daily payroll meetings and collaborate in weekly/monthly meetings with support departments (HR, Accounting, Tax, etc.).
Process Improvement: Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training documents to enhance payroll processes.
Innovative Leadership: Drive process changes within the payroll team to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Global Compliance: Be responsible for the reconciliation and filing of monthly and quarterly social security, wage taxes, and pensions for multiple countries. Flexibility: Step in to cover payroll inputs/outputs during team members' leaves, ensuring seamless operations.
Expansion Implementation: Lead the implementation of new country payrolls as the company expands.
Dynamic Responsibilities: Take on additional duties or projects as assigned by the management team, showcasing your versatility and commitment.

This Role Might Be for You If You Have:
- At least 5 years in a senior payroll analyst or payroll manager role, with a focus on international payrolls.
- Experience with Workday and/or Oracle OTL is a plus.
- A proactive demeanor with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet payroll deadlines.
- Strong analytical abilities and advanced Excel skills are critical.
- People management experience (direct or indirect) is helpful but not mandatory.
- Experience setting up new country payrolls is advantageous.
- Experience working with external payroll vendors is a plus.
- Experience with month-end journals is beneficial.
