Job Details

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Key Account Manager who excels in high-level scientific exchange and is passionate about bringing innovative treatments to patients. This role offers significant autonomy and visibility, with the opportunity to influence the positioning and perception of a first-in-class treatment in the UK market.

Responsibilities:

  • Launch a new treatment into the private market and prepare for NHS market launch.
  • Collaborate with the UKINORD Commercial Director and cross-functional teams to develop go-to-market strategies.
  • Finalize and implement Key Account Plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, payers, and NHS management.
  • Drive formulary and protocol inclusion and adoption in identified market opportunities.
  • Monitor and review performance against sales targets and KPIs, adjusting plans as needed.
  • Manage budgets and resources to maximize return on investment.
  • Provide in-field insights to marketing and commercial teams to ensure customer-focused strategies.
  • Represent the company at local, national, and international congresses and meetings.
  • Adhere to ethical and compliant practices consistent with core values and industry standards.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in field-based Oncology/Haematology Sales.
  • Strong background in account planning, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • In-depth knowledge of the NHS environment and its management structures.
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to develop deep product, therapy area, and competitor knowledge.
  • Demonstrable track record in achieving sales targets.
  • ABPI qualification and a degree in life sciences are preferred.
