Senior Director of Clinical Research - Contract - Wilmington, DE
Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and innovative individual for the role of Senior Director, Clinical Research.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role involves collaborating with physicians within Clinical Development to provide clinical research support for various programs. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing protocols for clinical studies, contributing to program strategy, and maintaining updated knowledge of the competitive landscape.
Skills & Requirements:
- Degree in a scientific/life sciences field. Pharm.D. or Ph.D. preferred.
- Experience in research, preferably in drug development.
- Prior experience in IAI and/or Dermatology drug development is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong analytical ability.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% or as business dictates.
The Senior Director of Clinical Research's responsibilities will be:
- Develop protocols for clinical studies.
- Contribute to the development of program strategy for assigned compounds/programs.
- Create and review clinical scientific documents such as IND, IND amendments, Investigator Brochures, Annual Reports, and other Health Authority submissions.
- Provide clinical input into the design of eCRFs, SAP, and TLFs.
- Collaborate with study team members to conduct timely and thorough reviews of study data.
- Represent clinical development on project teams.
- Develop relationships with consultants and external experts to obtain feedback on protocol design.
- Act as the clinical lead for study abstracts, posters, oral presentations, and manuscripts for assigned studies.
- Serve as a liaison to project teams, CROs, clinical sub-teams, and others.
- Maintain updated knowledge of the competitive landscape regarding assets with similar MOA and/or evolving standards of care for indications of interest.
