Role Overview: theyare seeking a skilled Machine Learning Software/DevOps Engineer to join our expanding team in Paris.
The successful candidate will collaborate with researchers and engineers to develop and deploy scalable machine learning libraries and tools, bridging the gap between research and real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Computational Tasks:
- Execute computationally intensive tasks using distributed computing systems (CPUs, GPUs, TPUs, Cloud).
- Utilize high-performance computing frameworks for efficient data processing and model training.

Design and Development:
- Design and develop scalable machine learning libraries and algorithms.
- Implement and optimize models and tools to support and accelerate ongoing research initiatives.

Collaboration and Integration:
- Maintain high-quality, maintainable, and modular code, with comprehensive documentation.
- Work closely with research and product teams to integrate new research findings into practical applications.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- M.S./Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Deep Learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Jax).
- Strong software engineering skills, including experience with Python3 and another compiled language (e.g., C++), object-oriented programming, unit testing, profiling, CI, and Docker.
- Experience with high-performance computing methods and frameworks (e.g., MPI, Ray) for distributed systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps and cloud technologies (e.g., GCP, Docker, Kubernetes).
- An understanding of Cheminformatics, in structural biology or molecular dynamics is required
Preferred:
- 2-5 years of experience in areas such as Reinforcement Learning, Computer Vision, or Natural Language Processing.
- Authored scientific publications in AI-related fields, especially bioinformatics or computational biology.
