Job Details

Manages an area which is responsible for providing Engineering support for the manufacturing process.

As an Engineering Manager a typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following:
  • Setting performance goals, actively monitoring employee progress, and ensuring training, development, and compliance of direct reports
  • Providing coaching and mentoring on career development to direct reports
  • Providing oversight on the project management of process equipment and manufacturing
  • Acting as a liaison with senior level management and other department managers by developing productive, collaborative relationships and utilizing clear and effective communication
  • Providing technical support, information, and assistance to other groups
  • Overseeing on the design and specification cGMP process equipment, piping, and controls
  • Supporting Manufacturing and Maintenance activities as technical advisor
  • Assisting on the initiation, review, submission, and follow-up of quality records such as CC's, CAPAs and Deviations, impact statements and risk assessments
  • Complying with all current IOPS cGxP (e.g. Good Manufacturing Processes, Good Documentation Practices etc.)
  • Supporting regulatory compliance efforts through audit participation and quality systems development
  • Acting as Subject Matter Expert during regulatory inspections and internal investigations
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by enforcing procedures, policies, and regulations
  • Supporting continuous improvement, 5S and Lean initiatives

To be considered for this opportunity you should have BS/BEng or higher in Engineering/Science Discipline with 7+ years of related industry experience. You should have leadership and people management experience. Direct experience with biopharmaceutical process equipment is preferred.
