The Opportunity
You will be an outstanding Field Service Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality technical direction, training, and support to customers in the clinical diagnostics and research sectors. Within this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing technical service to new and existing customers through the installation, calibration, repair, training, and maintenance of equipment on-site support.
  • Serve as the single-point-of-contact for the provision of technical and service-related support.
  • Interface with company Sales, Customer Service, Applications, and Research teams to build and support professional and comprehensive customer relationship management.
  • Follow departmental protocol including, service call scheduling, parts ordering, Return Materials Authorization, service call logging and expense reporting.
  • Complete field change orders, customer complaint handling, and instrument configuration documentation for ISO compliance.
The Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in engineering or relevant life sciences discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience providing customer-facing engineering service and support.
  • Able to demonstrate proficiency in the installation, preventative maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of complex laboratory equipment, ideally in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory setting.
  • Willing and able to travel within ANZ to provide on-site support to interstate customers.
  • Exceptionally skilled in customer service and able to build rapport with a range of different professionals.
  • Experience installing, repairing, and maintaining mass spectrometers will be highly regarded.
