Job Purpose

The Senior Account Executive role at Innovative Trials covers client engagement. The account executive role is a customer oriented professional with a strong results-driven approach. The overarching goal of the account executive role is to manage and curate relationships and opportunities with existing clients and build them into long-term profitable ones.

Key Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director, Agency Operations and Client Engagement and the relevant discipline manager, the account executive role will manage the relationships between the clients, vendors, and Innovative Trials to ensure the smooth running of the assigned accounts/projects.

The account executive will support Patient Recruitment & Retention programmes for defined projects, including support development of study materials from study start up to translations set up and file maintenance and tracker completion
Training and supporting new staff

Where required, the account executives will support across the other disciplines during leave or busy periods

Detailed responsibilities

Client and vendor management:

  • Under the guidance of the relevant Account Manager, the account executive will be responsible for preparing the client and/or vendor meeting agendas, as well as taking, filing and distributing as appropriate the minutes
  • Identifying and escalating performance issues with clients and/or vendors
  • Participation in client communications via email or calls, as required
  • Good understanding of processes across the team, including fulfilment and translations
  • Demonstrating high attention to details and produce high quality materials both for external and internal stakeholders

Project Management

  • Production of agendas, minutes and reports in the defined time frame
  • Support end-to end completion of projects from study start up to study close down including documentation
  • Track timelines ensuring adherence
  • Assist study lead with generating study/program KPIs
  • Understanding of a study risk assessment
