Are you an experienced Production/Manufacturing manager, looking to take the next step up in responsibility?

I am partnered with an established and fast-growing pharmaceutical contract services provider that has invested significantly into growth over the past 10 years. They are working in a contract manufacturing, packaging and distribution capacity with clients on a global level. Given the success of the company across its different sites, it is now in the exciting position to add key personnel into leadership roles to facilitate the next stage of growth.

This brand new hire is critical – taking on direct responsibility for operations and ensuring that the infrastructure is in place to support the expected growth. This position will take direct responsibility for Production, Engineering and Warehouse functions, overseeing both direct and indirect reports. As you would expect at this seniority level, this position will take strategic view of the operational processes but also have the ability to be hands on in the way that ideas are implemented. With a continuous improvement mindset, this person will ensure that site is able to operate quickly and effectively to the demands of its customers but also ensure that a structure and pathway is firmly in place to ensure the continued success of the business as it expands.

As this site continues its expansion, opportunities for exposure and development are readily available and encouraged, if desired.

Key experience:

• Experienced senior manufacturing/production professional from within a GMP pharmaceutical setting Excellent understanding of production, warehouse and engineering functions – no need to be an expert in each but must understand how to oversee these areas Strong management and leadership experience Demonstrated experience in managing both strategic and hands on aspects of operational management String stakeholder management skills both internally and externally Experience and/or strong ability to bring a continuous improvement mindset to the team
