As a Laboratory Assistant within our Necropsy team based in Alconbury, near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire you will play an integral part in achieving our mission by providing laboratory based technical and operational support to colleagues working on studies.
Whilst training you will learn a broad range of standard technical laboratory skills and techniques including how to work to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
Duties include routine procedures and duties associated with the day to day running of the laboratory areas which will include some lifting.
All training will be provided
You will need the following skills to be successful in the role:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to accurately read, record, and communicate information
- Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
