Field Product Specialist (West Coast)

Proclinical is seeking a remote Field Product Specialist for a leading biotech company located in Southern California.

This position will provide sales and marketing support, product installation and training and post-sales technical support to customers and partners for Advanced Sample Management in the life sciences, biopharma, clinical research and healthcare industries.

Must be eligible to work in the US.

Job Responsibility:

• Assisting the company's Sales and Marketing teams in finding new potential customers and partners by
• Attending tradeshows and conferences
• Assisting in marketing activities as required
• Providing onsite and remote workflow and implementation advice to customers and partners
• Installing new products for customers and providing onsite training on their use
• Provide post-sales support to customers and partners
• Provide input and feedback to the company's engineering team on any new products or software that are deployed in the field
• Train and Support existing direct customers via email, phone, or site visits to ensure they are using products correctly and to fix any products that are inoperable
• Participate in sales and marketing meetings
• Generate a monthly report detailing all activities
• Utilize the company CRM system to capture data about clients' customers
• Compliance with company OH&S requirements
• Compliance with company HR policies
• Any other activities which may be agreed with the manager to meet ongoing needs of the organization
• The role will report to the Vice President of Sales, North America

Skills and Requirements:

• A bachelor and/or post-graduate degree in biomedical science or engineering
• 1 - 5 years of experience in the Life Sciences, Biopharma or Clinical Research industries, preferably experience working with customers onsite within laboratory environments
• The ability to work closely with commercial team members to actively grow the company's operation in North America
• Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) packages is desirable
• Requires extensive travel to potential and existing customer and partner sites within North America and may occasionally require international travel
• Requires a varied skillset and high initiative.
• Excellent communication skills along with the ability to work and be comfortable within a small team.
• Able to work well with little or no supervision, utilizing your initiative and experience to guide your decision-making process.
