Job Details
Collaborating with my client, a clinical stage medical devices company on a new vacancy for a Clinical Support Specialist. This is a new role and a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make their next career move into a dynamic fast paced environment.
The Clinical Support Specialist will provide onsite support for implantation procedures in the UK, Czech Republic, The Netherlands and across other study geographies as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide training to site staff on the implantation procedure
- Be on-site to proctor implantation procedures, collection of all associated study data and provide necessary site support
- Maintaining professional and credible image with key physicians, clinical investigators, and consultants, liaising with all these relevant stakeholders to ensure safe and successful device implantations
- Facilitating and developing the design, planning and execution of the Company’s clinical programme with specific focus on managing recruitment to clinical studies
- Identify opportunities for increasing recruitment to clinical trials across the company’s portfolio; discuss with relevant stakeholders and responsible for the implementation of agreed recruitment initiatives
- Conducting briefing and technical meetings for internal and external representatives
- Support the running of internal and external meetings as needed by the project.
- Identify potential areas for internal process improvement, propose and implement changes following consultation and agreement with all relevant stakeholders
- Ensure full compliance with all Quality, Regulatory, Health and Safety and other relevant legislation
- Constantly review development procedure to ensure it is effective and compliant with the study objectives
- Train, develop and lead other R&D and clinical staff on the implant procedure as required
- Engage with the QMS to ensure delivery of the overall quality strategy & support the achievement of the business quality objectives
What are we looking for?
- Medical or scientific education with qualification to master's degree level or higher. 6+ years previous experience in a Medical Devices environment Demonstrate an analytical approach to problem solving and good attention to detail. Be innovative & creative, show appetite to continually learn and explore new ideas. Be a self-starter and use his/her own initiative in most situations. Be a strong team player with proven capability to work well in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Have strong interpersonal and communications skills
Have an ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing, fast paced environment
