Health & Safety Coordinator

Hobson Prior are seeking for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join a brilliant CRO on a permanent basis. Our client is focused on offering drug and medical device development services.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will be accountable for following up and analysing work accidents as well as suggesting measures to reduce the number of accidents.
• Maintain all mandatory HSE documents and ensure they are updated for allocated offices and labs.
• Assist the facilities personnel in any other European countries with health and safety advice on office setting and construction projects.
• The ideal candidate will draft, execute and follow up on prevention plans such as annual action, international prevention, etc.
• You will advise on a variety of specialist areas such as fire guidelines, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases.
• Responsible for following up with company guidance and personnel on prevention connected subjects.
• Arrange training for personnel and management on various health, safety and security related subjects.
• Any other assigned duties.

• Works well both independently as well as across both local and remote teams.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• A responsible individual with a flexible mindset.

Requirements:

• Fluency in the English and Dutch languages.
• Familiarity working within a matrix team setting with cross-functional arrangement.
• Capable of analysing procedures and data as well as making suggestions for process improvements and outlining program objectives and regulations.
