Job Details

CSL Behring is hiring a Senior Manager, Market Access to join our Commercial Operations team. You will ensure optimal and timely pricing and reimbursement for CSL's products and will play a key role in supporting CSL Behring's strategic response to access to medicines policy related issues.

Your Main Accountabilities:
  • Contribute to the health economic and reimbursement strategy for CSL Behring's products.
  • Support feasibility and impact assessments, including leading local assessments for global projects, and develop market access plans for new and existing products.
  • Prepare funding submissions based on clinical and economic evidence.
  • Support the business in preparing responses to requests for Tender/Information through the contribution of clinical and economic arguments to support the product's value proposition.
  • Regularly review pricing of CSL Behring products, and support brand teams of in-market products to develop strategies and evidence that maximize CSL Behring's ability to retain Tenders.
  • Work closely with Business Unit Directors to transition products to in-market once funding is achieved.
  • Contribute to the development of annual and strategic plan forecasts and strategies in assigned Brand Teams


Your Skills and Experience:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a health-related discipline (medicine, pharmacology, pharmacy, nursing, science, public health).
  • Post-graduate training in epidemiology, biostatistics and health economics.
  • At least five years' experience in pharmaceutical sector with a minimum of five years in market access roles.
  • People management experience is preferred although not mandatory
  • Excellent quantitative skills to undertake health economic modelling (spreadsheet and TreeAge software are used) and usage projections.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and critical appraisal skills. The ability to distil complex clinical information into clear and concise written reports and submissions is essential.
