Freelance Medical & Safety Manager (6 month contract)
i-Pharm Consulting are seeking on behalf of a specialist European CRO a Medical & Safety Manager to report directly to their Digital Innovation Director, actively seeking a certified Medical Doctor to take on Safety and Medical Monitoring activities for high profile Phase I-III trials. This is a fantastic 6 month part time 0.6-0.8FTE opportunity with a potential to extend on a consulting basis.
TITLE:
Medical & Safety Manager (MD)
THE ROLE:
You will be involved in:
- Medical review, medical monitoring (including case processing, adverse event reporting and signal detection
- Medical and safety input
- Ensuring safety reports and documents are in place and handled according to applicable regulations and EU Directive
- Triage medical monitoring
- Monitoring end points
- Liaising directly with the Sponsors
EXPERIENCE:
- Medical Doctor (essential)
- Therapeutic experience: Cardiology, Metabolic or CNS (essential)
- Strong clinical research experience including, medical monitoring, protocol design = Phase I-III (essentials)
- Excellent (English) communication skills
- Dutch is a plus but not essential
LOCATION:
Remote anywhere in UK or Europe
100% remote working
DURATION:
6 months (sickness cover)
Potential to extend or stay on in a consulting capacity
RATE:
Hourly rate - competitive and in line with market value (DOE)
